Marsalis-McAllister-Ames Trio

Classical meets jazz.

Hailed early on as a young jazz lion, saxophonist Branford Marsalis has expanded his vision and crossed stylistic boundaries as an instrumentalist, composer, bandleader, and educator. In the process, he has won three Grammys, a Tony nomination, and a citation by the National Endowment for the Arts as a Jazz Master. For us, he’ll join with fellow saxophonist Timothy McAllister — part of the Grammy-winning PRISM Quartet —and pianist Liz Ames. Together, they’ll blend the spontaneity of jazz with the structured elegance of classical music.
